Marin & Parker : A Farm-to-Table Analog Wedding Celebration at Cantebury Shaker Village
Marin & Parker got married in Las Vegas in 2022, but their families and friends DEMANDED a celebration! So they decided to have a vow renewal “wedding” celebration at Cantebury Shaker Village the next September. It was a beautiful evening filled with all the good times vibes. I shot both digital and film for this wedding but just FELL IN LOVE with how the analog film came out. I hope these images capture even half the emotions of the day.
Marin and Parker are so full of love. You can tell they care about their people. I am truly lucky to be able to step into these important days in people lives!

Rather than traditonal portraits I walked Marin down for her first look with Parker and got more candid style moments.

The simple “first look” was really cute and also gave us the time to have some really raw portraits of the two of them. I loved just letting them interact and captureing it as the moment unfolded. Above all shot on either Ektar 100 or Portra 400, a mix of 120 and 35mm

This expiremental “Retro 400” e6 I got actually produced some really good frames! You can tell easily where it was used being very grainy and having that greenish/washed out look. It looks really nice on this double exposure.

The Ektar 100 REALLY brought the color in these frames.

With such a small portrait list I was able to get most of the groupings on 120 film.

Candids on the retro, very grainy but it works for these type of shots

Honestly this type of event with a very loos structure gave so much time for me to really capture the human dynamics of this group. The candids really show the warmth and personality of Marin & Parker’s friends and family.

Simple cheese cloth, flowers grown by MARIN’S MOM and tea lights were accompanied by seed packets to create the rustic tablescapes.

My favorite part of the evening was when Parker & Marin re-read their vows while their favorite humans crowded over the balcony and downstairs and cheered them on.

Also there were some very funny and heartfelt toasts given by each of their fathers, followed by a food blessing by Marin’s mum.

The favors were vintage mugs for everyone to drink out of all night and also bring home! This one was my favorite.

Shooting Cinestill 800T at dinner made for some really fun, honest human moments. Plus I LOVE the way the fairy lights glow with this film!

With the last of the light fading they kicked off the dance floor by staarting their first dance alone and then inviting everyone else to join them!!!
The rest of the evening was filled with great dance moves and TONS of joy.

They did a small cake cutting with chocolate cake from @thecrustandcrumb (It was so good they ran out before I could even try it‼)
